The Scottish Primary Teaching Hub is a registered Community Interest Company and our goal is to support the wellbeing and teaching needs of primary school teachers all across Scotland. We are simply a free resource sharing platform where teachers can share and download CfE aligned teaching resources, with an added YouTube Channel to bridge the gap between educational research and primary teaching practice.

We created The Scottish Primary Teaching Hub as a result of our research, which investigated the quality, gaps and accessibility of primary teaching resources available in Scotland. We found that many primary teachers are not provided with suitable teaching resources and are forced to create or buy teaching resources (using their own time and money) to ensure the quality of lessons and learning is sustained in their classroom. We really hope this website offers a space for primary teachers to support each other and feel connected, valued and understood, as well as reducing their workload.
The Scottish Primary Teaching Hub is designed to help reduce time spent making or sourcing teaching resources and offers a free solution by connecting teachers across Scotland.

The Scottish Primary Teaching hub also aims to support our primary teaching communities professional development through our YouTube Channel, where we interview educational researchers, and subject experts to communicate their research findings in an accessible format for busy teachers. We hope that our channel bridges the gap between educational research and primary teaching practice, offering teachers with practical advice and tips that they can use in their classroom.

Our website and access to our YouTube Channel will always remain free! To power this Community Interest Company please consider supporting us through our shop if you have the means to do so, this goes to funding our current work and our exciting future projects.
